The Horses

Look Who Came For Dinner. When TaraSun learned of 3 older horses needing immediate respite so they could be rescued and stopped from going on the kill wagon, we welcomed them here. Cody, an older gelding who was so thin, his skeleton showed through his dirty coat. Clearly, Cody was an old ranch horse who had given years to the human race and was now just dumped at the auction yard. Cody had serious digestive issues and was trying to care for his beautiful paint friend, Camille who suffered a painful injury to her right eye. Camilly hurt all over and was frankly done with dealing with the human race. She was a force to reckon with but had a successful eye removal. Sally was an elder girl so tolerant, sweet and kind, she was loved by everyone including TaraSun dogs cats and chickens. With nutrition designed just for them, homeopathy, chiropractic adjustments, an incredible barefoot farrier and a whole lot of time, patience, peace and love, all three learned to trust again. They are all now receiving the love, respect and care they deserve as they thrive in their new forever homes.
